Collaboration & Competition
Lecturers recommended me to join competition and collaborate with other brands like Spotlight. These competition and collaboration enables me to brainstorm newer ideas which i am suppose to communicate with different types of people.
Vans - Custom Culture
I joined this competition during 2019 as i have strong interest with the brand Vans. We are suppose to create different designs for vans which can be related to asian or something we love. I created a few as we are able to submit a design unlimited times. I use traditional drawing with colour pencils and only about 1/2 design using Adobe Illustrator.
Sheng Siong - Grand Opening
ITE College Central has just introduced us Sheng Siong to the school. So our lecturer has asked us to make flower & fruit arrangement for their grand opening to wish them well. This was in my Nitec days when i was in Business in Floristry.
Edibles Competition 2017
Participated and was recommended to join the competition where by using fruits and vegetables or anything edibles to make like a flower arrangement. Sadly i didn't get any runner up or anything. But it was a good experience to be able to get an opportunity to join the competition.
Far East Flora - Valentine's Bouquet
We collaborated with far east flora for valentine's day. We manage to completed over 150+ bouquet and all the roses with round styles. I manage a team of 7 people distributing task and manage to finish on time with quality check by me. Making sure every bouquet is in excellent quality.
Spotlight Window Display
I was recommended to do a window display during the Easter season. I then was requested to gather a good team to do this client project. We are required to bring out products that they feature during the season and their best selling items. As a team of 6 people and 2 lecturers which helped us, Ms Laysie and Mr Herbert, we managed to get approval for the concept display mockup.
